Dear Friends and Supporters
This month, your support kept real work moving on the ground, from urgent rescues to follow-up care and recovery. You’ll see a few of the stories you made possible below, plus the progress we’re most proud of right now.
Thank you for standing with our teams and the animals who rely on them.

Kolkata, India
Last month, our teams performed 821 treatments. The cases ranged widely: traffic accident injuries, dog-bite wounds, respiratory infections, stomach upsets, skin conditions, and emergency rescues.
In addition to fieldwork, our team was invited by Bikramgarh High School in Kolkata to speak with the student body about animal welfare and responsible coexistence with street animals.
The students were highly engaged, thoughtful, and curious. They asked excellent questions and showed genuine interest in becoming more responsible and compassionate members of their community.
We are also delighted to share that we rehomed a puppy to a loving and happy home. We are deeply thankful to the adopters for choosing to adopt a street dog rather than purchasing a purebred puppy.
Every adoption not only transforms one life, but also sends a powerful message about compassion and responsibility.
India is home to an estimated tens of millions of street dogs, many of whom are healthy, intelligent, resilient, and deeply loyal companions when given a chance.
We strongly encourage families to adopt, not shop. Choosing a street dog is not just an act of kindness. It’s an act of responsibility toward the wider community.
Chiang Rai, Thailand
Our team is currently caring for 50 animals at our shelter—providing daily food, shelter, enrichment, and ongoing medical care. Alongside shelter work, we’ve continued community outreach in local villages and stayed ready to respond to emergency calls whenever animals need urgent help.
This month, our operations in Thailand achieved significant milestones in both preventative care and emergency rescue, directly impacting the welfare of the local animal population.
Our team successfully completed a large-scale sterilization clinic, treating 69 animals in a single event. Sterilization remains the most effective method for long-term population management; we estimate that this single initiative has prevented the birth of approximately 480 unwanted animals this year alone.
By focusing on these high-impact events, we continue to reduce the strain on local resources and prevent future suffering.
In a critical intervention, our rescue team recovered 19 puppies from a local refuse site. After being transported to our facility for urgent medical assessment, vaccinations, and grooming, the puppies were featured in a digital outreach campaign.
We are pleased to report that through the overwhelming support of our community, all 19 puppies were placed in permanent homes within seven days. Furthermore, the mother was safely captured and integrated into our sterilization program to ensure she will no longer have to raise litters in such perilous conditions.
We are also celebrating the successful rehoming of two of our shelter’s residents, Bella and Tawan. Their adoptions mark a significant point in our 2026 calendar, bringing our total number of animals rehomed this year to 23.
These success stories are a direct result of the consistent support from our donor community, allowing us to provide the medical care and advocacy these animals need to find a second chance.
