Animal Rescue & Care in Chiang Rai

Delivering vital care to street animals while empowering local communities.

What We Do in Thailand

Animal People Alliance plays a key role in supporting the only dedicated animal shelter in Chiang Rai, where we provide emergency rescue, sterilization, and vaccination services for dogs and cats. We also bring veterinary care to tribal villages, offering free medical treatment, grooming, and education on compassionate animal care. Our team is also involved in shelter operations and adoption programs, and we help manage local partnerships to strengthen long-term animal welfare in the region.

Village Outbreak Response

When a severe outbreak of mange struck dogs in the tribal villages surrounding Chiang Rai, our team partnered with The Chance Foundation to take action. Mange is a painful, highly contagious skin disease, causing intense itching, open sores, and risk of infection. Day after day, our team provides medicated baths, treatments, and supplies bringing relief, preventing further spread, and improving the quality of life for these dogs. With ongoing care and community support, we’re giving them the chance to heal and thrive.
